The study, more than 21,000 men and women were randomly assigned to take blood pressure medication in the morning or evening. The researchers then looked for hospital admissions due to heart attacks, strokes, or death due to cardiovascular disease.

On average over five years, 3.4% of those who took the drug in the evening and 3.7% of those who took the drug in the morning were hospitalized for a heart attack or stroke or died of cardiovascular disease. According to the researchers, these results show that the time of taking the medication is not the most important. What really matters is following medical advice and taking medications.
